These experiments are a result of composing work as a response to the different styles portrayed by the various artists I have looked at previously. My aim was to create resolved responses of digital work leading up to my final piece leading up to it to experiment with the best direction in which to take my work.
This piece is a result of the experiments of photos taken from London and styles like the artists Chadwick and Phillips and the ways in which protests are changing the way we see society and culture.
In this experiment, I used the portrait of the late George Floyd to use the techniques of Fairey with his portraits of influential figures. As well as this I developed an edit of the newspaper front page to link to Tom Phillips and display a message of the situation. Finally, I used one of my photographed buildings to link the work back to the environment of cultures and societies.
In this piece, I've focused on creating a response in my form to the work of Peter Chadwick. I achieved this by using s primary source photo of the Barbican Centre in London with the style of Chadwick's shapes and colours.
Again this piece is inspired by Peter Chadwicks's style of work in bold colours and shapes. However this time I used the background of a news article on the BLM protests and cut out parts of the ps photo of the building to link to Tom Phillips.
