Final Piece

My final piece for Book 2 is a series of edited photos of my poster in areas of London I have visited and photographed previously. Both the edits and poster were inspired by my artists I have researched in both books to create a resolved response based on my artwork displayed throughout my project.

Below are my best picks of photographs from each location I visited of my poster in the areas desired. I wanted to photograph the scene in a way so the poster almost looked natural and belonged so wasn't just placed seconds earlier. Of course, throughout my trip I respected peoples privacy as many of these areas are places of residence, therefore, I was considerate not only with my photos but with the placement of my poster so it wasn't directly on someone's property.

Using Adobe Lightroom I edited one photo from each location in the style of Lucien Hervé. I tried to create a sharp feel to the photos which at the same time is soft to look at yet detailed. By achieving a good middle point I believe that the meticulous approach of Hervé is conveyed here as he was the main inspiration when taking the photos themselves not only in editing. These photos will be used in my final edits linking to the colour of Paul Catherall and Peter Chadwick.
