I chose to use lino prints to display this building in the style of Hervé as I believe it shows the sharp edges and solid block like in the photographs of Hervé. I experimented with the different textures and colour of the prints. The top right print is printed with less force creating a distorted style. Also, I experimented with using a white print on black paper to again reference the greyscale of his photography.

This drawing above is a result of a stencil for a lino print. It shows the geometrics of the buildings and their key shapes. Hervé often looked at the shapes and style of the building as well as the greyscale element which I also incorporated in this stencil by editing it into black and white.

The lino etching on the left is a result of the lino prints shown below. It shows the process and technique used to achieve my pieces.
